I think nothing is more relaxing after a long day of studying, than watching Netflix, with tea, chocolate and a good facemask. Therefor I am always on the lookout for new facemasks to try. Today I am going to try the “Rosy cheeks” facemask from Lush. This mask is supposed to minimize redness and balance the skin because of the rose oil. The calamine powder is calming for delicate skin.
The ingredients of this mask are:
- Glycerine
- Kaolin
- Fresh rose petal infusion
- Calamine powder
- Rose clay
- Rose oil
- Benzyl alcohol
- Butylphenyl methylpropional
- Citronellol
- Perfume
First off, the smell is great. I am usually not somebody who loves floral scents, but this smells lovely. I am also a fan of the muddy pink colour; that way you don’t look like a complete alien/Shrek while wearing it. Not that I usually go outside with a face mask on anyway 😉
Because this mask has to be kept in the fridge, it is pretty cold to put on, but luckily, I had a cup of tea on the side. It feels pretty nice on the skin and it dries down pretty quick. That is always handy if you want to take your shirt afterwards to take a shower. This way you don’t end up with face mask stains in your T-shirt.
After using this mask my face felt pretty soft and my skin looked pretty even in colour. I find it difficult to say if my face was less red, but I do not have a lot of redness in my face normally.
I will definitely use this facemask again in the future! Have you tried it? Let me know in the comments!
